Ceilings are sensitive spaces where breaking the smooth surface is likely to catch your eye. So, when designing a ceiling-mounted router, the visual identity needs to be just right.

Slim Line is a disc shapes router that appears to hover rights underneath the ceiling when mounted. A pleasing optical illusion achieved by carving out the upper part of the disc. This effort also minimizes the visual thickness of the product while cleverly hiding the ventilation holes and connector ports.

By splitting the outer edge into two optical halves, we trimmed the appearance further. A small detail as this may seem, having two draft angles facing the same direction effectively gives a higher perceived quality of the product.
