Beolab 20
A beautiful diva with a rich sound and a powerful voice. One who carries herself elegantly on her feet. This was the image that Torsten Valeur had in his mind, when he modeled the BL20.
“Despite its massive bass unit and huge volume, it was important for me to give the BeoLab 20 a graceful and airy expression,” he explains.
The lower part of the speaker is angled as if it is balancing on a toe tip. The curved sides and angled bottom play with the overall geometry giving the BeoLab 20 its slimming silhouette.
Like the diva’s dress, the speaker body is completely covered in fabric – a feature that makes it easy for the BeoLab 20 to adapt to its surroundings. Just the top of the speaker reveals the internal aluminum structure where the acoustic lens is positioned.
From the choice of quality fabric material to the gradually changing aluminum surfaces, every detail leaves the imprint of meticulous craftsmanship.
