The common way to cover electronics is with a body of two pieces of plastic, assembled by the stacking method. It’s a solid solution when it comes to costs, but the result is usually predictable and lacking in quality and elegance. By twisting the method slightly and without compromising the cost-effectiveness, we managed to create a sculpturally interesting and very playful router. We nicknamed it, Taco.

The house is created by a circular sheet that’s been wrapped around the hardware, letting only the antennas stick out. The result is a simple but very distinctive shape. With no visible split-lines from the front and sides, this router appears surprisingly solid, and yet again affirms that there are still original solutions to old challenges.
